Fleamarket guide - Schoneburg Flowwmarkt

The one full of second hand clothes, jewellery and bric a brac.

The little sister market (or maybe twin?) to the Nowkoelln Flowmarkt, is compact but plentiful. There is something for everyone and all at very reasonable prices. I don’t think I have come away empty handed yet.

Held every second Sunday during the spring summer months, it retains an authentic Fleamarket vibe due to the high number of local sellers mostly offering unwanted clothes from all ages and walks of life. Since April I’ve seen Acne Studios, Ottolinger and Ganni plus loads of vintage and quality high street such as Cos. One top tip - if you are looking for children’s items there is a high proportion of second hand clothes and toys on offer.

Another great aspect is the amount of local makers pitched there from fashion brands, handmade toiletries and cosmetics, crochet pieces and pottery alongside really good quality local jewellery makers.

There are a few food trucks and the amount can differ per week but there is always coffee available. That said, you are only a stones throw from Akazienstr. or head down to one of the local bars or restaurants on Crellestr. / Heimstr. crossroads where I like think David Bowie hung out when he lived in the area (his old apartment is around the corner).
